Montepulito Sangiovese D.O.C. 2018
From a small family owned winery known as Ca Ragni, located at the hills of San Clemente, Emilia- Romagna, close to the Adriatic Sea and right next to Tuscany in Italy. This wine is under the Colli di Rimini DOC (Controlled Denomination of Origin Rimini Hills), established in 1996 to protect the winemaking traditions in this area.
The most famous grape used in this DOC is the delicious Sangiovese, and this wine is made with one of the best Sangiovese of the region. In a very traditional way, this wine is not processed in oak barrels which means that the result is a young wine, it means it's fresh and rough, the typical characteristics of the taste of Sangiovese from Emilia-Romagna.
This wine is very easy to combine with beef, pasta, lamb, deer and venison.
