- 1 bottle of Abando Rosé Barrica Vintage 2016
A rose wine made with Tempranillo and aged with the Riojan old tradition that uses the American oak to add sweet aromas to their wines. Rioja is well known as one of the wine regions of Tempranillo, not only within Spain but worldwide. If you are keen to know how a Tempranillo behaves when is used in the elaboration of Rose wines, this is a very good candidate to start your journey discovering the Spanish "Vino Rosado" of Rioja.
- 1 bottle of Abando Blanco Barrica Vintage 2016
A white wine made with 100% Vira grapes, aged for 5 moths in French oak barrels, with a good body and a very balanced flavour. As soon as you open the bottle you enter in a trip into the heart of Rioja and the classy style of their wines. It will come to your nose with Tropical and citrus fruits aromas and a characteristic hint of vanila.
- 1 bottle of Bioca Godello Vintage 2016
In order to discover Godello wines you must do it with one of the best. This is the case of Bioca Godello, one of the best Godellos worldwide awarded with Gold medals and Trophies in more than 20 countries, including Australia, and with a persistent flavour and quality that keeps surprising year after year. If you haven't tried a Godello wine, at your first sip you will find some similarities with Chardonnay, full-bodied yet zesty in a citric kind-of-way but with a particular creamy texture that will get your attention straight away. Bioca has also particular notes of Jasmin, maybe from the soil where the grapes were grown, Godello expresses itself differently when grown on slate slopes versus alluvial soils, and each wine has its own personality.
- 1 bottle of Nekeas Blanco 2018
A great blend of 40% Viura and 60% Chardonnay from the emerging and trending DO of Navarra. As you can see, Chardonnay comes to play with a native grape of Spain (Viura) giving us a great and fresh medium-bodied white wine with beautiful notes of apple and citrus, that shows us how Chardonnay can grow in different locations giving us what it gets from the soil of Navarra.
- 1 bottle of Honor Cava Brut
A classical Spanish Cava from the DO Penedes, made with a blend of Macabeo (Viura), Xarel-lo and Parellada from vineyards of more than 50 years of age, located at the bottom of the slopes of the hills facing east, to optimize the solar incidence and obtain a better maturation of the grapes. You can't miss this Spanish Cava with ripe apple and citrus blossoms aromas and an important vivid flavour balanced and very elegant.
- 1 bottle of Honor Cava Rosé
If you want to surprise, this is how: A Spanish Rosé Cava. Made with 100% Trepat (a red-wine grape variety indigenous to northeastern Spain), this grape is usually use to make Rosé wines in the region of Catalonia, but then, a second fermentation is induced in the bottles that are settled in a horizontal position in a dark cellar with a constant temperature of 15°C and left to age for at least 9 months. The result, a great Rosé Cava with great notes of Redcurrants and Strawberry with a fresh, pleasant, balanced structure. Definetely a Cava you have to try.
